To develop a National System of Education which would help to build a generation of young men and women that is :-
1- committed to Hindutva and infused with patriotic forever.
2- fully developed physically, mentally and spiritually.
3- capable of successfully facing challenges of day to day life-situations.
4- dedicated to the service of our those brothers and sisters who live in villages, forests, caves and slums and are deprived and destitute, so that they are liberated from the shackles of social evils and injustice.
5-thus devoted people may contribute to building up a harmonious, prosperous and culturally rich nation.

After independence to materialize the cherished dreams of most saintly Dr. Hedgewar, it was essential to bring out strong, dedicated, hard- working Indian citizens, who could devote their time & energy to ‘Bharat Ma’ enjoy her glories of the past and reachieve the great title “Vishwa Guru” there was are urgent need of establishing such schools that inculcated patriotism in the younger generation. This force was to be channelized into the service of the nation. Many of the eminent, inspired RSS workers like honorable shri Bhau Rao Devras and reverned Shri Krishna Chandra Gandhi took up the education of the children as a mission of their lives. They travelled throughout the country to inspire and appeal Industrialists and prosperous people to come forward to join the noble cause. First Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Gorakhpur was opened in 1952 with very limited resources and high ideals. After this schools began to be established at other places also. State level committees were set up to run these schools. After 25 years need for amalgamating these school arose that gave birth to Vidya Bharti Akhil Bhartiya Sikshan Sansthan, new Delhi in 1977 as a natural corollary to this process. all state level committees were affiliated to this main body.
